here's the deal: i am looking for a 6800 GT
i have a gainward ti4600 and i love it.
i can get the BFG now (Nov 12 thru 15) for $399.00 -12% (bestbuy coupon) minus $10.00 (reward zone) for a total of ~$371.92 (399-48-10=341; sales tax here is like 7.75% so add $30.92).
OR
wait and hope to get the 6800 GT Golden Sample from newegg for $434.95 ($429.00 + $4.95 s/h) EVENTUALLY.
what do you think? I love my gainward gf4 and have never owned another brand of vidcard... are the BFG's alright? I plan to overclock it when i do get it, whichever one it is, but i probably won't get extreme with it... might put it on water but not sure... depends on whether i can get the block form the ti4600 on the new card, because i don't feel like dropping $130.00 on a new waterblock. i plan to actively cool the memory. The $63.00 difference in price is tempting... should i go for it or wait some more?
