My friend has a 3500+ Winchester and an x800pro in a a Shuttle nForce 3 250gb SFF. He's been getting temps in the 100c zone and I know its not a Temp. probe problem because I touched the heatsink and it was BURNING. I'm not kididng, it was hot enough to grill steaks. I was thinking of the reason it was getting so hot. The heatsink is obviously working if it gets that hot on the fins and I put some new AS5 on it. We checked the PSU and we realized it was burning hot too.
We looked at where the the outtake from the PSU was and it is located so that the hot air from the PSU goes right into the CPU Heatsink. Anybody else having any trouble?
