Removing 6800GT cooler... stripped screw

Yeah, it can be a toughy but it comes off quite easily.

They can be tough, Usually I just use needle nose pliers and it isn't much of an issue. It's usually a snug fit, So a little force is needed.

ya, i remember the time i have to pull out the fan connector to install my NV5 silencer. I was so worried that I will puul out it's mating connector too.

Ok, I was just worried that I was going to damage something by applying too much force. I know they don't want it to be really easy to come out because it could somehow come out inadvertently or someone who doesn't know what they're doing could take it off and not put it back on, which would obviously cause a lot of heat issues. But, I didn't think it should be so hard that using pliers with moderate force wouldn't be able to move it at all. Thanks.
