i accidentally clicked on the wrong icon on epox`s website
epox mobo slot 1 intel 820 chipset that accepts rdram
(rambus) excellent !
it`s what i was looking for in the first place,
plus iv`e read that the 1.2 ghz celeron works with the
slotket adapters to 370 socket
and that the new celeron is unlocked.


has anyone ever used this motherboard,
any advice would be appreciated. david.
p.s. mobo is epox ep-6cxa2c

I think there is a special slotket adpater that you have to use for those Tualatins. Not sure, though.

And where did you read that the newer Celerons are unlocked? I've read nothing here. That would be big news if true.
 
as far as i understand aopen has a adapter called FC-PGA
s370 to slot 1 .
it has jumpers on it that you can set the voltage from 1.3 volts
to 3.5 volts plus other info
