I just ordered a Gigabyte DS3 rev 1.3 on Newegg for a steal--$95 with free shipping, no rebates or anything to do.

For now I'm going to overclock my old P4 530J 3GHz in is--I'll get a Core 2 Duo or Quad (65nm obviously) this winter maybe.

I have some cheap DDR2-533 (Corsair Value, 2x512MB, default is 1.8v 4-4-4-12 266.5MHz) and an Enermax Liberty 500W power supply (2 "22A" +12v rails with 32A total).

I was thinking if I set the memory to DDR2-400 and overclock up as high as I can (hopefully 266MHz), I'd have the memory at or under spec and the processor edging close to 4GHz.

With my old crappy 915P board, I haven't been able to break 220MHz fsb :( so I don't know how good this P4 is.

Any tips though? A specific BIOS to look at? Anything? Thanks guys!
