i have 98se and Xp. 98 loads fine, but Xp is a no go. when Xp starts up it says "Logan interface dll msgina.dll" and tells me to restart. has this happend before?

First of all dual boot systems do not run well at all. If you want to do that I suggest getting 2 physical drives and install one os on each.

my dual boot runs just fine

win 98se
win XP

but you need to install 98se first

because if not you can get problems

Make sure that Windows 98 was installed first.

And that may happen if you install on the same partition since Windows is very faulty when on the same partitions.

i installed 98se first.

can i just delete the folders that XP uses with out trashing my 98 computer

Just installed Win98se and XP last night on same hd. Wiped out my 20 gig hd, created two partitions, loaded 98se first, then XP, and everything seems fine.
