I may have an extra 6870 to play with, but it will be an HIS card and not a Sapphire card I already have in my computer.

It is a good idea or bad? I guess I am more concerned about drivers and such.

Cheers.

It doesn't matter at all the brands of the cards you are crossfiring. Its the same card that uses the same drivers. HIS, Sapphire, Asus, Gigabyte, ect. Doesn't matter as long as the card is from the same series then you can crossfire.

Alright,

Looks like ebuyer will not take the HIS card back as they say it has been past 10 days when it has not. Two options I have, keep the card and Crossfire or sell online.

My PSU is good enough, I have a Corsair 850HX, but that would definately make my cpu a bottle neck until I overclock.

Cheers.
