I've read that Microsoft released Windows 2000 with SP2 integrated, this sounded strange, so I dug in deeper, just for the sake of interest, and I also found some threads arguing that Microsoft has released Windows 2000 with SP4 integration, also with all the patches up to Nov. 2010; and another 2 versions with SP1 and SP3.
Is any of this true? I cannot find any confirmation in Microsoft's website...

* Windows 2000 and SP4

Copy contents of the original Microsoft Windows 2000 CD to C:\WIN2000
and extract Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 .exe file to C:\SP4
Start Menu > Run... > C:\SP4\I386\update\update.exe -s:C:\WIN2000

Detailed instructions:
1. Create two folders C:\WIN2000 and C:\XP4
2. Copy contents of the original Microsoft Windows 2000 CD to C:\WIN2000
3. Copy service pack file w2ksp4_en.exe to C:\ drive.

4. Extract the SP4 .exe file:
Start Menu > Run... > Paste the following and click on OK (or press the Enter key):
C:\w2ksp4_en.exe /x:C:\SP4

5. Start Menu > Run... > Paste the following and click on OK (or press the Enter key):
C:\SP4\I386\update\update.exe -s:C:\WIN2000

C:\WIN2000 now contains Microsoft Windows 2000 installation files with all the updates included in Service packs 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 integrated.

Do a search on how to make an installation CD using these files bootable.

Thanks, done it. Hopefully it's working, and hopefully I will get my old machine working. :)
