hahaha, i am aussie and its 8:34 pm at the moment in brisbane australia.

xander, if you want to buy cheap then you can go to amazon, they ship everywhere but it takes ages. i bought an 1156 mainboard and it arrived 1month and 2 weeks later, but it runs my i3 540 perfectly. I personally buy from an Australian business called Umart. cheap and reliable and i also buy from gocomp.

give me a good psu and cooler then that are around the same price, also i am only buying from Umart and gocomp in Milton cause they are easily accessible to me.

Ha, that my local store ;)

That Coolermaster Hyper V8 is an overpriced an underperforming piece of..... Anway, you get the idea. Likewise that Corsair Hydro is one rotten cooler. The only Hydro worth its beans performance wise is the H100, and it has reliabillity issues. Picking mine up from RMA'ing from UMart tonight.

For the CPU cooler look at the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO

For the power supply look at either SilverStone ST60F-P 600W or the Antec EarthWatts 650W, Unfortunately with us in Australia and all, we just can't get quality power supplies cheap, out of those two I'd go with the Silverstone.

Also, if you want top quality audio in games may I suggest the Turtle Beach DSS2 and combine it with a Turtle Beach P11 headset? Easily the best sound quality I've heard in my life, though the DSS2 made an even bigger difference than the headset did.

That gaming mouse is a bit of a ripoff. the Coolermaster Storm Spawn is an excellent gaming mouse, use it myself. Also, save your money and just get a regular keyboard. It makes little difference what you use in games.

Anyways, if you want to talk re component choice, PM me and I'll give you a phone call.

sorry i never got back to you about a basket but how comes you have changed your basket? the 3820 isn't as good for gaming as the 2500/6000/700k. There is no need + the mobo is ALOT more expensive. You will get better gaming performance and overclock if you just go for the 500k. ( unless you really need hyperthreading for something, then for for the 600k)

Also screw the 570's sli. Go with a 7970 for about $100 less. they are decreasing in price due to the 680 and it will munch up anything on max. Not to mention you can do Xfire later which aparently scales alot better than SLI nowadays!

This is more what the basket should look like!

CPU Intel Core i5 2500K Processor LGA1155 3.3GHz CPU - $225.00

CPU COOLER Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO w Transparent 12cm - $39.00

RAM Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 - $57.50

MOBO
Asus P8Z77-V P8Z77-V.Z77 4xDDR3 3xPCI-E16 GBL SATA3 USB3.0 RAID DSP H: - $225.00

Primary HDD Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SSD - $148.50

Secondary HDD Seagate SATA3 1TB 7200RPM 64mb Cache - $104.00

GFX CARD Sapphire ATI HD7970 3GB GDDR5 2MDP/HDMI - $579.00

PSU SilverStone ST60F-P 600W PSU 80+ - $108.00

CASE CoolerMaster RC-932-KKN5-GP HAF Advanced Black Case USB3.0 - $168.50

DVD drive Samsung 22X DVDRW Black SATA $19.00

$153.82 $1692.00

( duno about the other peripherals but in relations to the comp itself your money would be much better spent on getting a better/ bigger SSD / a decent GPU that you can SLI/ Xfire later when you have more cash)

^^^ Some good advice right there. Only thing I don't agree on is the case choice though in the end that personal preference.

i just added the one he put in ( wasnt my choice :p) i would say fork out the extra cash and go for the corsair 800d, but tbh i have it and one thing ive noticed is the locking mechanisms for the drive bays are rubbish and break very easily!

Lol, I love minimalist design although I'm only interested in mid towers.

Personally my choice when I got my current case was be between:

1. Silverstone TJ04-E w/ side window - $165
2. Lian Li Lancool PC-K9WXBlack - $117
3. Lian Li PC-9FB - $165
4. Corsair 650D w/ Window - $208

Those were what I chose from for my current case, though I much preferred the styling choices and feature set of the Silverstone case, hence the reason I went with it. Besides, I've an electric screwdriver so tooless doesn't mean much to me.... It's a power tool of some sort so I enjoy using it ;)

My current case is the first I've ever had with a side window, and I've found you can install a few CFL's in there and it still doesn't ruin the understated design. Rather it balances things out a big. I've a nice red glowy interior now ;)
