i was wonder is the max voltage you can get from MSI afterburner 1.3v for the 7970.

Asus gpu tweak should allow you to set higher volts.
May I ask why you need to go higher than 1.3? I thought 1.3v was considered the safest limit.
Are you air cooling?

HWBOT comp for Heaven, feel the need for speed, IM hitting 1295mz now on 1.3v for my 7970.

Haha very good seems like your knowledgable ill stop playing safe
In which case try pushing it higher with the gpu tweak software.
I've heard some are bolt locked to not go above 1.3v in which case some physical modding may be required.
You'll have to let me know the results

I'm definatly not confident enough with physical modding to the 7970s.
I'd imagine you need somthing a bit stronger than air to get to the 1.4-1.5v area.
What are your temps like at the moment?

On heaven 55-56, have to try 3dmark 11 still and vantage. I also water cooling I will get out to use also. That's only if I can go above 1.3v.

Nope just used AB in overclock mode.
