what does this hdd icon represent?

win 7 32bit. im feeling dumb because i cant figure out what the red graph on this icon means.. its not full because the larger blue graph is accurate, its not fragmented, its in excellent health.

I'm going to assume you use Norton 360? If that is correct go to settings and uncheck Backup Status Overlays.

No Norton 360, but have MozyHome Backup installed? Disable icon overlays in Windows Explorer

ohhh durr ya its gotta be some software. it could be anything as this is my tech station computer. its not 360 or mozy but ill figure it out now, thx.
