Qone8.com fix?

Working on a machine tonight first time I've seen this exact one. I ran few programs to remove bad programs etc.

Anyway no matter what I do in IE this will not switch to the homepage you have set in IE. I searched in the registry Qone8 and found a few entries in IE registry files for it. But when I edit them and go to exit it will not save and just changes back to Qone8.com.

Just curious what I'm doing wrong here or if there is another way to edit the registry to take care of this issue?

Keep pressing F8 to boot into Safe Mode of the infected PC, then install Malwarebytes and run a full scan.
Reboot normally (not into Safe Mode), update Malwarebytes, then run it again.

hmm tried this, but I did not run it in safe mode. So I'll give that a shot. Thanks.

Did you try taking full control in the permissions when you were editing the registry entries?
