I upgraded my cooling yesterday and today. It was a 2 day project only because Corsair, in their infinite efficiency, managed to put the incorrect backplate in the kit with the H100i AIO system. I wound up reinstalling the H60 backplate which worked as a mount plate should on this type cold plate/pump. Here's some Corsair Link 2 screenies of the before and after, pix in the following order (notice the temps):
1) 4770k @4.1Ghz with H100i using H60 backplate
2) 4770k @ 4.1Ghz with H100i stock backplate
3) 4770k @ 3.5Ghz with H60
2) 4770k @ 3.5Ghz with H100i stock backplate
I had mounted, seated, and TIM'd the H100i using kit included components 3 times before putting my noggin' into gear and solving the riddle. What a pain in the........but the improvement is very noticeable.
