Win 7 stuck on safe mode, after DDU and a failed update

I have a very unique problem so I figured I should spread misery to every forum I know to try and get an answer. I was in the middle of starting DDU (Display driver uninstaller), while the new updates were installing my system. The system required a restart for the update, and DDU wanted to enter into safe mode. Without thinking I said yes to both. This caused windows to try and install the updates while booting into safemode. This ended in tragedy. Now, no matter what bootup option I choose, the system always tries to go into safemode. It gets stuck on the "Please wait" screen. I have no system restore points, and boot fix does not work.

Tried repairing the install?

Yes I have tried to do a repair, but no go.

And it just un-mucked itself.
