Hello,
I just got my new motherboard and cpu working. I had some hardware/firmware issues but fortunately I got rid of those comparatively easy.
I haven't tried OCing the CPU yet, just the memory (the one in my sig) - Got it working at 2400Mhz @ 1.65V on 11-13-13-35 (timings were autoset by the bios)
Since I was still in the 775 era a couple of days ago, I've got a few things to learn just yet about OCing a modern pc.
Still, there's something bothering me - the cpu multiplier does not go under x42, even when the system is idle.
Shouldn't it go way below that when there's nothing putting any load on it?
