Hello,

I just got my new motherboard and cpu working. I had some hardware/firmware issues but fortunately I got rid of those comparatively easy.
I haven't tried OCing the CPU yet, just the memory (the one in my sig) - Got it working at 2400Mhz @ 1.65V on 11-13-13-35 (timings were autoset by the bios)
Since I was still in the 775 era a couple of days ago, I've got a few things to learn just yet about OCing a modern pc.

Still, there's something bothering me - the cpu multiplier does not go under x42, even when the system is idle.
Shouldn't it go way below that when there's nothing putting any load on it?

Well, it's actually set as 'Samsung High Performance' as suggested by my Samsung Magician. I'll try setting it to balanced and will report back asap.

Yup, that was it!!! Damn, I'm really not used to those 'new' features :D

Thanks a lot mandrake!
