Okay guys Thanks!, I guess I won't bolder with it. As I can only get the rebate on the 1k and not on the 1.3k. So will will still cost me about 13 dollars more than the 1k and shipping time plus I get my refund for the overnight cost which means the 1k will turn out still cheaper about 21 dollars cheaper.

I was just wondering what you guys though since the price were very close to each others by maybe 11 dollars difference.

More like a $7 difference. The 1300kw is a G2 model at $166.99 with free shipping whereas the 1k has a G2 model at $160. I don't know what parts they used in the G1 with the $10 rebate at $150(AR), but it's possible they included higher quality capacitors or parts here or there in the G2. While I agree it's over the top for anything reasonable or ordinary, if you ever want to experiment with quad GPU setups the 1300kw seems like a decent deal. Also, the 1.3kw offers 10 year warranty over 5 year for 1kW.

What are you talking about? The 1000W G2 has a 10year just like the rest of the G2 lineup.

It's $7 more for the 1000kW G2. The OP was debating whether it's worth $7-$16 more.

Edit: (Summary)
1kW G1= $149.99 after $10 MIR
1kw G2= $156.99 after $10 MIR
1.3kw G2= $166.99 No rebate

All offer free shipping, so if it were between a $150 PSU with a 5 year warranty and a $157 PSU with a 10 year warranty (and a $166.99 PSU with a 10 warranty with 300 more watts, I might just go with the $166.99 one.)

The G2 does offer rebate.

List Price: $199.99
Price: $166.01 Free Shipping for Prime Members
You Save: $33.98 (17%)
Post-purchase rebate: $10.00 Rebate forms
Price after rebate: $156.01

Is the main reason also I went for it.

Again, it has a 10 year warranty... ;)

You missed the complete point of my post. ALL G2 PSUs HAVE A 10 YEAR WARRANTY.

Yea like others saids, I think i will be safe if do things right I can pull 2x 290x on this machine with the 1k and the 1.3 would be overkill unless I did all of that, super clocked and water cooled I think i will be safe with the 1k for now. If the time comes and i need bigger I can move this unit to the wife rig and get the 1.3k or 1.6k version.

Thanks guys

You'd be safe with the 850W and 2x 290X's...

You say it like you're on the edge with the kW unit or something...

So far the system is overclocked to 4.7Ghz and my MSI R9 290X Lightning seems to be running nice. Testing a few games with it to see how the system behaves. That EVGA power supply Supernova 1k G2 edition is quite. I don't think I haver had a quite system like this before.
