I am looking into purchasing a large capacity (1TB or greater) hard drive (or SSD) for back up purposes.
Are there any advantages (other than the obvious portability) to external USB or Esata drives over just a regular internal HDD?
What are the partition size limitations in Windows 7? If I buy a 2TB drive do I have to split it into two 1TB partitions? 4TB drive?
I will be wanting to setup scheduled backups of certain folders. Or is it more effective to just do an entire system backup?
What is a good backup software? Is Windows 7 Ultimate good enough?
