Hiya, I have just got new parts, I have an asus M5A78L-M LX, an AMD FX 4100 and I have got 1 module of 4gb corsair vengeance that was previously sold in a kit of 2 4gb modules, will this still work okay?

The RAM will work as a single stick, yes.

Cheers thank you very much was just checking because i couldnt test it due to not having a cooler and it wouldnt work in my old system but thats probably because its mixed with others and doesnt like the speed
