what I am pointing out is that even with all this high tech stuff we have, we still use 19th, early 20th century tech for most of it's trip.
the last leg of our interwebs is the only part that is modern tech.
when I lived on a houseboat off Andros island, at autek, up by coakley town was a big cable with lots of signs not to anchor, it was the trunk line to bimini and it even shows up on the map.
one of the shows on history channel portrayed it as an anchor cable for ufo's, those channels are such a joke.
