Try looking in your device manager and look at the network adapter and then go to properties then look under power management and see if anything is checked off like wake on magic packet.
I know the suggestion I gave to you is a long shot but what happened to me one time when I first got into PC's I did know anything about what I suggested to you and I got an update for my network adapter and my PC would go to sleep for about 2 seconds after I hit Sleep then it would wake up and what I did not know was that Intel by default checks that stuff off and I when you install the driver or get an update.
