Thanks for posting. I read it earlier too and I wound up running down some rabbit trails regarding the 200-series (24 PCIe lanes, PCM-ready) chipset which is socket 1151 version XXXX? I think MSI displayed a board at Computex that is to roll out in November along with Kaby Lake launch. Along with XPoint (Optane) SSDs launch. So this Christmas shopping season should be interesting.

I really hope at least some could be used on a Z170 board as I have a spare I'm wondering what to do with...
