Fios Fiber Optic Modem

I have been using Fios Fiber optics for a while and love it.. But due to money issues I plan on changing to just internet from them and using a Amazon Firestick.. So what kind of modem can I buy to use for Fios fiber optics and not pay the renting fee???

The Verizon site should have a list of approved modems. Id check there.

I tired but couldn't find a clean cut answer to what modem will or won't work for Fios fiber optics ..

Is it really any different? It's fiber to the pole, not in your home. It's still coax to the house and modem, rogyt??

I have fiber inside to a main box that outputs ethernet cable to modem.

Then you probably just need a router. There is no modem as such for fiber, it's actually a transceiver unit.
EDIT: All you need is a router that supports DD-WRT:

Yep! I've got fiber in, ethernet out, and I bought an Asus router with wireless and I've been going great. I only use FiOS for internet connectivity.
