I have a new version (28.1) of prime95 for Haswell owners to try. It makes use of Haswell's FMA instructions for even more FPU stress. It has all new self-test data (each test lasts longer so less time is spent initializing and more is spent torturing). I do not guarantee it is bug free. I'll monitor this thread for the next few weeks looking for repeatable bugs.
In my case (4670K, 4.2GHz, DDR3-2400), the new version runs 8C hotter in the small FFT torture test (still not as hot as Linpack/LinX). I also got rare BSODs with the new version that forced me to reduce the overclock to 4.1 GHz -- now stable.
