After buy the KT400 and ther Geil PC3200 Cas2 ram. I'm kinda strapped for cash. I wasn't looking for my T-bird to die.

Then get a used Duron 800MHz CPU or an older Athlon CPU for now untill u can afford an XP2400+

The XP1600+ is an ok cpu but its getting old and wont look fancy in a KT400 and DDR400 memory. You need a T-bred B and 2GHz+ frequencys to make that ram happy.

Well with the 1800+ it's 133x12. Running it at 166x12 would only be a 392MHz oc.

Know I replied to this earlier, but if you are still thinking about getting the 1800, it's multi is 11.5, 12 is for the 1900. Course, OC-Master's idea about waiting isn't such a bad idea. I mean you could get a 1.3GHz Duron for $37, then wait till you have more cash for a 2400+. By the time that happens, there might be better steppings hopefully meaning better OC's (though 300MHz isn't bad right now, we were just expecting it to get to 2400-2500MHz) and the price on them may go down.
