I'm an AMD guy so I haven't kept up on the Intel side of things. I've got a friend who has a 2.8 Prescott and is looking for a good mobo under $100. What do you guys feel would be her best buy? Thanks!

you can't go wrong using a MSI 865 board with a Prescott

Mine has been running overclocked for over 7 months now and is stable as a rock

i would say to get the abit ai7. Its about 100 dollars (last i checked it was 105) and its a pretty sweet board. Lot's of people on this forum have it so if you ever run into trouble there'll always be someone there to help you.

I prefer my IS7 or the AI7 I had. The AI7's can tend to be flaky. The IS7 is one of the most solid boards I have owned. Yet, I will still be getting a P4C800E-Deluxe. I have a P4P800 D sitting here I haven't tested yet.
