Thanks! Once I get that LMetal, I know it's gonna get better. Maybe with the EK nakid kit and my block, i'll probably have better temps also.

Ahh, otay. I knew the small fft's were the culprit, but what I didn't understand was why would the chip get soo hot when intel supposedly revamped the chip for that particular problem.

De-Lid is tempting but my chip is doing OK and just dont think I want to risk it.
I have lapped many a chip but De-Lidding is another matter. :)
I can see myself breaking it and then I would cry like a baby. :)
 
I'd be happy with 4.6

I run my 4770k at 4.4 @ 1.15v and it will still hit high 80s priming under a h100i
Gaming however in BF4 hardly ever passes 50c, turbo on
Congrats on delid ! I always thought about it but never have.
