Keny, the big thing here is that it gives new guys a chance to step in and win the monthly challenge, and get them addicted to benching
Yeah, and there not going to be able to do that if you or I put up a score worth 60 points straight away even though it was only worth 1 new point in reality, when there first submission could be worth "in real terms" more than yours or my score even though it may only be worth 5 "new' points, it must be run as a "new" points comp or else it will be dominated by high scoring benchmarks being re run by current team members and making it look like they have scored big points but in reality the gains made are minimum.
