GF2 Pro 64meg-can only get 1x AGP HELP!!

well i got the GF2 Pro and my mobo only supports 2x AGP, well i go into the Leadtek Winfast software and change it to 2x from teh default 1x and then apply. well go back to SiSandra and it still shows 1x. reboot still 1x. I want 2x, i know it can do it its not even pushing the card!!!- also the dx program says 1x, so do the display settings??? nvidia 12.91 drivers are those the problem
