I heared that the praised AX-478 is realyl crap and doing worse than stock Intel heatsink. is this really true?

well, i think that is all due to user error, not a flaw in the heatsinks design. i trust the review by www.overclockers.com
check that out if you already haven't. it should give you a better
idea of the heatsink.

You call the HS falling apart user error? And the 5+ people that just got the HS and are getting horid temps USER ERROR? Think error is the company.....

That's the first report I've seen about that. But it's enough to make me think twice, at least until it's been a while without hearing anything like that.

look at the thread spyder started about this, it seems full of good info about this. i would only be worried at this point if it started getting bad temps, that seems to be the only symptom at present.
