I got an athlon XP 2000 + agoia y how High should I be able to get this to run without unlocking it which I don't have the balls to do or the money to replace if I happen to screw it up

if you do not unlock it then i dont think you can do all that much. Try getting one of those programs like 'Easy Tune4' that will enable you to change some settings...safely of cause
