audigy mp3 vs audigy gamer

Is there any difference between the two of these cards, or is the bundled software the only difference?

you got it, just the bundled software. IMHO you're better off getting the gamer instead because I heard the mp3 software is crap.

Absolutely no problems with my Gamer. You don't really need the extra software because there is plenty of mp3 software out there that is better IMHO
