I used the search and I must be retarded not to find it but how do you show frames per second in Quake 3, I forgot the console command. Thanks

/demo demo001 or which ever demo number you use.

or you can use fraps for measuring realtime fps.

just do a google for fraps2.0 you'll find it.

Whats cheat protected mean? I have to turn on cheats right? How do I do that?

To display your fps in Q3, pull down the console and type:

/cg_drawfps 1

Thanks Oni I found that later on. I had to up the frames in the config to go high enough.
