1) I posted a similar thread that had to do with file errors while I was installing Jedi Knight II. One suggested that the culprit could be the psu. this only occurs while oc'd and everything is fine while at default settings.

2) Also, when i play dvd's while oc'd I get random shut down, another clue...

i checked my psu's max output and it is a suprisingly low 160w peak 3.3 $ 5v.

Bewfore i go and run to get a better quality psu how can i check the psu to see if i am getting drops during these loads or if it could be something else? I was using mbm5 to monitor voltage, but i am getting some wacky numbers.

I have access to a multimeter and was thinking about checking one of the spare molex conectors during load to see if it drops or not.

Any suggestions on how a non-electrician could go about testing my psu to see if it is the culprit???
