I just reformated windows today. i installed the updated drivers of all my hardware, and then i started installing my software.
Here lies the problem, when i try to watch a dvd with PowerDVD player i get this error "The TV Out port of your display card is not working properly." WTF?!?

i have the latest detenators installed 41.09 these are what i had installed before the reinstall of windows xp and i never had this problem, any help will be appreciated

I had this happen. I am pretty sure it has to do with WHQL certification. I had a DVD that wouldnt play because TV out was enabled (or somethin like that). Got the WHQL drivers, and worked properly.

Try having the s-video cable hooked up to the TV before you even power on. Sometimes when it's not connected on boot it gets disable for some reason.
