my vantec nexus does something odd should I be worried...

Ok,I just got my Vantec Nexus fan controller yesterday.All I have on it right now is my Delta 80CFM CPU fan.I got it on channel 1,and thats all that hooked up to it.Now then with channel 1 running at half speed,and I have the rest set to HI.If I move the knob for channel 4 toward LO it speeds up channel 1.It only does this with channel 1 set at half,with it at full nothing makes it change.Any ideas?

BTW, please post in the "vantec death and destruction" thread after reading the first post in that thread if you can; we're trying consolidate all of our info on the problems these units. Hopefully, a pattern will emerge. So far, it's a bit vague, but every report helps!
