The only difference is that Microsoft virtual machine is removed from this version. Which is for the better imho, since you can get better versions of java run time from Sun anyway.
 
Man Microsoft must be having a lot of legal problems with Java virtual machines.
First they took it off as a defualt installation with winXP, and you had to download it from the windows updates site.
Then they cancelled that, and made it available only through sp1.
Now they took that off too, so the only way you can get it is if you download it from Sun....
Then in June they're going to make it available in sp1b?
I thought when they make moves like this, usually it's agree that it's the best thing to do, but Sun seems to keep changing their minds, and saying that it's not good enough.
 
Usually the sp's incorporate more fixes than problems. But that usually causes more problems rather than applying fixes :p :D.
