i am overclocing my pentium 4 2.4b 533 on a ga-8inxp gigabyte motherboard i get it up to 2.95 and everyting seems fine i go up to 3ghz and when i start games it freezes i palyine with the cpu voltage and stuff now when i start a game it quits to the destop and everthing else runs fine when i start the game again it quits to the desktop in a few mins i turn my cpu speed down and it all works fine again. does the agp voltage have anything to do with it ist there any thing i can do to get it to work better

There can be several reason:
-Your CPU might be too hot
-Increase your CPU voltage
-Increase AGP voltage.

If it's still not working, then you're getting the same problem I had when I tried to run NFS: HT2 with my athlon xp +2600 overclocked at 2.51GHz.
