Hey all,

Just wondering if this combinations will work, I currently have the Asus a7v266e mobo and was wondering if I will be able to overclock ?? atleast the FSB and how much?

or should i keep the my current 2000+ cpu palo ???

please gimme your experiences with this combo

Thanks

Check the Asus website for compatibility although I understand the KT133 Asus works with a XP2100.
BTW welcome to the forums!

Asus a7v266-e supports up to xp2600, fsb goes way up there but you'll only get to about 150 or so before you get the pci to high and corrupt the hd.

I used to have that mb. Like the other guy said, you won't get a very high fsb (I was able to get to 145 on mine). So going from a 2000+ to a 2100+ won't do much for you. If I were you I'd save the $ for an nforce2 board. I love mine - overclocking heaven.
