For some reason both mozilla and netscape are not displaying correctly. Some stuff doesn't get displayed at all, and some buttons will show up as what I call comptuer noise, where its just a block of funkey color bands. Anyone have any suggestions cause this text based web browsing is becomming a pain in the but.

Is it the browser buttons, or buttons inside the webpage?
Browser buttons: try putting a new skin on your browser: http://themes.mozdev.org/
Buttons inside webpage: try running a different theme (or change the style on your system). That will change how the buttons look in general on the OS, and if the original style/theme was futzed, that will fix it.
