I've been pushing my system trying to achieve the highest 3D Mark I can, so far my highest score is 9273 3D Marks using the system set up below....

Gigabyte GA-60XET mobo,
Celeron Tualatin 1.2 @ 1.52 ghz,
256kb Legend ram @ CAS 2,2,2,5/7,
127 mhz FSB,
Albatron GF4 Ti 4600 @ 321 core, 661 RAM sideband addressing enabled,
Windows XP no tweaks, tasks still running in background,

What scores do other Tualatin users get? Post your score as well as your rig setup.....

Tualatin users only! Not interested in P4 or AXP scores....

that is an awesome score...i can't post mine yet as i don't even have a card that will run the program at all :)

but i can't wait---i've ordered a 8500le (for only $53 on ebay) and will let you know as soon as i test it...

i love car racing games...do you know of good ones that are cheap?

Flu!d, can you get more than 1.5 out of that chip...with more voltage or something?

Dustybyrd,

I dunno, I bought this chip about 1.5 years ago when Tualatin Celeron's first appeared on the market. At the time I coulden't pull more than 1.5 ghz flat outa it without the system crashing....ATM i'm typing this post at 1.52 ghz totally stable @ 1.675 volts VCore....So there's hope yet!

Mind you when I first shot for higher than 1.5 ghz I was running the standard Celeron Tualatin cooler, now i'm running a P3 1000EB cumine cooler which is substantially bigger....

I'll try for higher FSB's over the next few days....

From what I can tell I have the fastest P3 based system on the 3D Mark 2001 ORB....Yeah baby!:)

yeah, when i get the 8500le, i am only hoping for 8000+ 3dmarks...

is the voltage actually 1.675 or undervolted?

maybe you can get 1.54-1.56 with 1.7-1.75 volts...at least just for the benchmark ;)

Well I tell ya, i'm gonna try!

Because I just figured out how to 'navigate' the ORB and my system isn't the fastest, but it's up there!

The fastest is over 10,000 3D Marks using the same vid card and a good 'ol BX mobo! Although he's running a higher FSB (lower multiplier)....

I want 10,000 3D Marks! [sob].

How much is a P3-S?:D

yeah, it looks like a piii-s might give you another 1500, maybe 2000 more 3dmarks...based on ORB

but that chip is 200 bucks...definitely not worth it, unless in dual config and overclocked...

its in the sig, baby!

BTW, thats a 1.2ghz celly @ 1.44ghz, 118mhz fsb

my tully does 1.55 @ defult voltage(129mhz fsb), but my r9500 doesnt like high agp speeds so im stuck at 118mhz fsb:(

Cool, this is interesting....

Anyone else?!

Where's ol'man?

Wish I had a decent graphics card to test with. I've only been able to push this old GeForce2 GTS-V to 4067 3DMarks. That was with my 1.1a @142fsb and the card clocked out at 210/340.

8214 on the system below, took a few tries at about 155fsb and cas2-2-2. ordinarily i get maybe 7200. i think overclocking the video card really boosts the score, if i had lots of cash for a backup i would give it a try!

how would a pIIIs 1.13 @150fsb compare to a tualeron 1.1@150fsb?

how high is your ATI 8500 overclocked ? 8214 seems quite good..

I got an TualCeleron 1.1 @ 1.46 GHZ ( FSB 133 ) and got with my ATI 8500 ( BBA 275 / 275 ) -> 7400 points

@ 1,54 GHZ ( FSB 140 ) i got 7600 points..

My score

3DMark2001SE: 10,087

Cel 1.2A @1750 @ 1.650V
GF4 Ti4200 64mb @320/560
Gigabyte GA6-OXTA
Mushkin PC133 256mb @CL2

I tried and tried to break 10k, but I just couldn't get past a little over 9800. I'll post my exact score and specs later, but it's the machine in the sig. :) -- Paul
