I have a 3.06 HT CPU in a laptop. I have throttling at 0% in the bios since it is mostly plugged in, not on battery power. Anyway, I fold on this thing 24/7, except when it is off. My question is if the CPU gets too hot, will it automatically throttle even though I have it disabled in the bios? I thought the throttling option was just for saving battery power. There is currently no software to monitor temps on this thing. Help is appreciated...

Yes it will still use thermal throttling if you overheat the CPU.
What you have set it idle throttling...
So when your CPU is not working, it will still run @ 100%...
And you are correct that the throtttling is for saving power, but since you have it pluged in, power is not a restriction for you
