Wierd extigy sound

i've been watching some tv shows on my computer and some of them sound ok except you can't hear the voices on my computer. However when i put on my headphones i can hear them fine. Could it be the codec i'm using? I have to have my CSI

I have altec lensing surround sound. They sound great on all my DVD's and most of the other things I watch. I've also made a few animations and encoded them using divx 5.0.3 at the time and divx 3.11 and they sounde fine. I don't understand.

Try getting the lastest drivers.

dont that, sounds kinda like their sound is backwards. Wanting to play out back speakers
