Try my dads PC:

AMD K6-2-250MHz @ 83.3MHz FSB
128MB PC100 RAM @ 83.3MHz
8MB onboard SiS 6326 AGP 1x graphics

It wont even run 2k1! havent even tried 2k3!

i don't think the i810 would even run 2K3

GF4TI4200's are dropping now (about $120 for a 128mb card), the 9500Pro's are going for around $175. both would be good upgrades from a MX440.

Well, I had the same idea as someone above me...

I've got an HP Vectra VL400 machine -- P3 800mhz with onboard i815 graphics. It doesn't want to do 2K3, but it scored a whopping 465 in 2K1... In 16 bit color! (since it cannot do 1024x768x32 3D hehe)

8500 LE

You can hit 10K 2001se with an 8500le and a little o/c. Newegg has em new for $70 shipped if my memory serves correctly

maybe your 3d mark is like broken i got 4000 with a 1.53 ghz athlon (oc'ed from 1.4) and 512mb ddr ram and a frickin geforce 2!!!

were talking about 3DMark2003, not 2001. your geforce 2 wouldn't be able to break 1000 in 3DMark2003. i'm not knocking GF2's, the only cards that can hit 4K+ is 9500 (modded)/9500Pro's and 9700/9700Pro's (and now the 9800Pro).

That's very impressive

I had a Savage4 card on a PIII 733MHZ system with 256MB PC133 RAM, it got about 500 points on 3dmark2001SE with everything at stock speed...795 points after oc to max ....too bad it cannot even run 03, or I can beat you

Hey, take a look at 3Dlabs cards.
Some of the best graphics cards in the world, have 416 megs of onboard memory, blazingly fast, but they score a whopping
~760 on a P4 2.4 and 1024 megs ram in 3Dmark 2001se.
All that speed is going to rendering accuracy, not rendering on the fly...
