fdd problems

I have a problem with my fdd drive. I know that cabling is ok (when i boot up the computer it works) . In my BIOS i set it to 1.44 mb diskette. The problem is, that when i run win 98 floppy does not work ( it is not accessible) any ideas ?

Make sure that the FDD controller is enabled in your BIOS.

If the light on the floppy stays on, reverse the cable at the floppy.
