You could paint it to match your case. That would look pretty nice. But if you are limited to either black or chrome, I would say black, unless your case is rather shiny (like chrome).

Is this the original intellimouse with 5 button function??
If it is I painted almost everything to match my Z-680s. My case is now gunmetal. The monitor is stock but silver and black and the mouse is now a good looking combo of gunmetal and silver. left button 4 & 5 silver.

The only problem with chrome paint is that it tends to come off very easily (know from experience) - you might have to put some clearcoat on it once you've finished.

You could always find smoked chrome...and then you would have black chrome...best of both worlds

Hmm...nice point there K3nshin. (Hehehehe...black...) Smoked chrome is pretty.
