darn it, i just found out why my mobo has been crashing on me lately. i had it for 2 years overclocked.
its a msi k7t turbo with a duron 700@~1005
anybody has this board?
what to do? give it a funeral or kill it some more?

Well there are a few places that are willing to replace the caps on mobos. Whether it worth the cost to fix a two year old board is certainly a question to think about. However, what you should think about is how annoying the crashes are.

Looking at newegg I see an XP1700 for $42, a page and a half of socket a mobos between $60~$70, several good sticks of DDR for $30~$35 and swiftech heatsinks for $42. So you are probably looking at about $150 to upgrade your system.

If you have the cash my vote is for the funeral, if not kill it some more while you save up the cash.
