it is my understanding that Linux is indeed a SMP platform.. however I hear that some programs need to be "told" which processor to use in a way? I'm running Redhat 7.1 (Seawolf), I know it's old, have yet to update it. on a dual celeron 466 machine. I want to toss folding on there as all it does now is host my files/mp3s.

How do I get the folding client to run and choose which CPU it uses? I assume I can have 2 clients running in seperate sessions if I can assign it what CPU I want to use? ALso what is a good linux folding client?

Yeah, 2 clients, each in its own directory and with a unique machine ID.
