Whats a good site that will let me pick the FPO/Batch# on a chip.
Not Essential. I just canceled my order because thats all they'll have for a few weeks.

I have seen some late batch costa ricas do very well. But I don;t blame you. I went with a malay over the costa rica.

Does it really make that much of a difference, or am I being anal as usual?

It shouldn't make must difference at all. The actual CPU dice are made in the US, and then they're shipped overseas for assembly and testing. Since Intel (as with most chip manufacturers) insists that things at plant A be done exactly the same as things at plant B, the assembly process should be equivalent.

But hey, sometimes superstition makes it more fun.
