cuz at newegg, the 8500 is around 40 bucks cheaper. the MSI Ti4200 was at $120 bucks, while the 8500 was around $80. is there a big difference? if i went with the Ti4200, is the MSI one the best option? is there something better for around 120 bucks????

you can find ti4200s for 89 dollars, i think at newegg, the deal was posted in cyber deals. they are 9 dollars better than 8500s, but not 40 dollars better

edit, and you have to make sure you get a 250/250 8500 if you get one, the 250/200 ones arent that great

Yes, the MSI is one of the best GF4 Ti4200 vid cards around.

You can get an Abit ti4200 for $83 at excaliberpc.com. So yes, it is $3 better. Not only that, but the Abit's famous for o/c'ing very easily.

The $60 9100's rock. I got the 128mb version. Unfortunantly, Ipicked the sapphire on sccident, now the built by ati, and its 250/200. Oddly enough, it still gets 9000 3dmarks stock. Im going to flash the bios to 250/250, as it runs 275/275 fine.

hey, i just saw the Abit Siluro board at newegg for $80.00 bucks.
