Will the new AMD Hammers and Opterons be able to fold fast because the 64-bit technology? Or is the F@H client 32 bit. Will the new chips have any advantage over the current P4's and XP's?

The current clients are in 32bit. So no, no real advantage. If stanford releases a 64bit version, then maybe it would have some edge. It may also be that FAH may not benefit at all from 64bit, I don't expect to see a 64bit version anytime soon though.
